GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

For the 3 years i've been here at Wilmer Hutchins High School, It's been an okay experience. I've seen some good teachers come and go and the sports are pretty decent. I've been apart of student council, football, wrestling, and track and Field.

All four years i have attended this school its been terrible I haven't learned anything from teachers. I have been scared of the school being shot up due to many school shooting threats. This school has been on the news for that multiple times. The staff was very unprofessional. This school will be discontinued if 75% of my class doesn't graduate we only have 70 out of 198 students that are on track. The district admins have been brought here to monitor and the super as well. Im just trying to make it through everyday to get to have a future at this school so i am able to go to the next stage in my life.

This high school is not like anything you imagine. The principles and teachers treat you like it's a prison, there's no free dress, they took away jeans on Fridays, and they're restricting phone use. In my opinion, I think high school students should have some liberty in being the teens that they are. There's no school spirit nor any prep rallies that you'd expect at a high school.
