The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have gone to Mcintosh Co Academy since the 9th grade, 2017-18 school year and have been very happy here. I love this school and the people as well as the teachers who have made my journey so special!

I would like for them to prepare their students for College more. The staff needs to care about the students more. More resources should be available due to the school being small. There should be more clubs and activities for children that do not wanna play sports.

The thing that I like about McIntosh County Academy is that the teacher would offer to help you so that you are about graduate and would respect there student opinion about any subject. What I like to see a change within the school systems is that the school systems would offer to listen to their students opinion and make a standing agreement when it effect the student in different ways.
