GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Going to Horizon since the 9th grade has been an amazing experience. I like the curriculum and they work with you to better your grades and GPA. If I had the choice to change anything I would change our schools lunch. But, overall it is a great school that I would recommend to all incoming freshman in high school.

Teachers at my school are very helpful. The teachers will go out their way to make sure that a student is doing the best that they can. My teachers want to see their students achieve and go beyond. My teachers is very good with communicating with the students, I, myself, can understand every thing That is being asked of me.

This school has come a long way in culture and performance over the last half decade or so. New leadership has really made the difference. Teachers and admin care about the whole student: physical, emotional, and educational health.

My child learned a lot of new skills in the school. The teachers who wrote negative comments are well known by the school community who did not do a good job teaching and were fired because of it.

This school is not about the students. It is all about how to make money for the Turkish men who run the company. Student needs such as academic intervention, special education, counseling, and limited English assistance are not met. There were several times this past school year that there were not...
