My experience with Deerfield beach started off on the right track in my 9th grade year mainly because my friends had some of my classes and the teachers were effective and helpful. Then this year I don't what changed but it became worse not only the schools sanitary conditions but valuable information not being shared with the students. One thing I don't like about this year is the metal detectors, I get that they are for our safety but we have about 3,000 people in this school having one metal detector at the bus loop is not going to cut it. I would like for the school to at least get a second metal detector for the bus loop because I am sure that students are tired of standing in line outside for 20 or more minutes just to get through a metal detector.

Going this high school it was a big adjustment as it was far from my house and I knew no one at this school. But I had to go as it had the IB program, my first few experiences at this school were right out of a movie. The typical crush and feeling as if I didn't have that one real friend. After a little longer though, I found my true friends and just how you can find the good in every school. However some things I would improve of this school are for sure the hygiene. But other than that this school spirit and the people and teachers are really what make it special

I did not care for this school for my daughter. It's the luck of the draw as to which teacher your child gets; only some are effective at providing homework and instruction. If your child's teacher is fully engaged, (s)he will have a rewarding learning experience but it's way on the other end of the...

Stress Stress Stress.. I don't learn nothing at this school, and even if it was a free day as if the school doesn't have any work for the day, I would still be depressed about coming here.
