Once I arrived at the front doors of the school in 9th grade, I was immediately surrounded by college banners and wonderful, amazing teachers that were ready to help me get there. All my teachers had attended four years college so they knew the path I needed to take to succeed. Although the classwork is very rigorous, it prepares students to have the mindset of what college is going to be like and how hard the workload is going to be. Overall, DSST College View has definitely prepared me for college and my path in the future.

The core classes tend to be a higher level than most other schools, but there is not a lot of variety in the AP classes that are offered to us, and we are forced down the same path because we do not have the choice in what classes we get to take.

I LOVE THE SCHOOL I LOVE HOW THE TEACHERS TEACH. However there is 1 thing I hate: Uniform shirts why so u don't get bullied kids are bullied no matter what and if I get bullied of what I wear I wouldn't care But this school is still the best!

I initially appreciated the school because it provided an academic factor that we did not receive in my daughter’s elementary school.I have learned that the school is adamant about using collective punishment as a tool, which has proven repeatedly does not work.
