I attended Derby high school for all 4 years of my education. They have a great variety of classes to take, but one thing they could improve on is helping students get ready for college.

It not the staff it security to stop me to go to my class I see of lots of security at lunch time I can go downstairs to class no more I have to go back upstairs back to lunch

some of the teachers do an excellent job and really care, others, so so. administration is terrible, they will not work with parents or students. if you are a football fan, then this will work for you, that is where all the attention ( and money) goes. school is too large, but as another viewer wrot...

From the time I enrolled my child in the Derby school district in 6th grade, neither him and I were never accepted. Once those teachers put a “label” on a child, it sticks with him/her throughout the rest of their years in the Derby school district.
