So the best parts of my school is probably the food its not that bad i enjoy it but the worst part of that school is that the counselors don't interact with the students as much as their suppose to.

Western International High School has horrible protocols when it come to racial incidents at the school as well as keeping drug use out of the school. I was called a slur by another student and when I put in a statement nothing happened; no consequences. I was told that I couldn't be informed on the situation because it was being reviewed and while that happened i was harassed by the aggressor. I never was addressed or got a formal apology . Even more disappointing when the school is supposed to protect ethic youth. The school is also not really in favor with the black student voices of the school.

Western has been good to me so far and there are some teachers that were really good and made an impact on my life.

I am a former student, who moved to Macomb and now attend Dakota High. Honestly, I would move back to Western in a heartbeat. The counselors are so much better, and the teachers are so involved. The best part is the diversity. The clicks are SO bad here. In Western, you have everyone with everyone....
