GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

There is a variety of people you'll see, different friend groups. Best experiences is probably service day or fun day(at the end of the year). Worst experience is probably being piled up with school work or test, it's a lot to take in but eventually get it all done.

Dryden High School is a great school for an upstate NY school. They are pioneers in environmentalism, as they have all reusable utensils and trays, apple orchards that are incorporated in lunches, and EV charging station and cross country schools behind the school. It could use more accesses to AP course and more counselling when it comes to colleges and after school plans. Overall, I think it is a very good school.

Middle schoolers are scary and the administration is unreliable and they kinda suck. The guidance counselors care more about sports than the actual students. The teachers are very nice and provide good educations. There are a lot of after school opportunities. The school lacks diversity but there are lots of groups of people you can hang out with.

Dryden school cares more about their appearance. Then they do about the students. They do nothing about bullying. They dont follow their own code of conduct. High authority staff lies.

Parenting children who go to Dryden is a constant battle to get any level of consistency. Administrative turnover at every school in the system is amazing. Every year there is a completely new administration at every school, because no administrator wants to stay. There are no consistent rules, or e...

We had two children in the Dryden School District from K - 12. This small rural school close to Ithaca offers much to students who are interested in earning a quality education. The classes are small, the teachers are caring, and the students all know each other and have close bonds. Students treat...

I have been a student at Dryden central schools for 11 years. Elementary school were the best days of my life, very organized schooling system. Middle/high school.. On the other hand not so pleasant. It is the most asinine school I have ever been in. The way they handle situations is awful. In Dryde...
