GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

DuBois was a great place to learn but not a great place to make friends. I loved the school itself but the people made me feel like I didn't belong. I only got to make a few friends but the teachers were nice.

I love DuBois Area Highschool. I had a great experience so far within my four years of being there. I would like to see more diversity within the school.

This is a great place to be receiving my education. All of my teachers have been incredible, and they really invested time in helping me succeed. There are a good variety of honors and AP classes, which allowed to to challenge myself and gain college credits. I feel like the environment can be toxic sometimes, but overall it is pretty welcoming.

Our son and daughter both graduated from DAHS with high academic backgrounds in math and science. College came easy for them because of the knoweledge gained from the amazing teachers and staff at DAHS. If you are moving into the central PA area this is the school for your children.
