GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

This High school was never a place for me minus the music department. Teachers were never positive and most times didn't make an effort outside of class. I was one that needed extra help constantly and most times it was never met. I remember waiting after school for the chemistry teacher for extra help and she would never arrive. I walked out with almost no common mathematical skills. I've had multiple people mention their concerns to me as to why I cannot do simple mathematical equations and even life skills. Thankfully I have found my way in the world but I am also noticing how little normal mathematical skills I have. Biggest thing was probably the teachers lack of positive reinforcement for when a student did something right bc I know many who walked out of that school as a pessimist.

I love the school spirit and the wide variety of classes that we can take. I have had a great experience with almost all of my teachers and I feel like they truly care about us and want to see us succeed!

Small town community atmosphere which gives the teachers an opportunity to get to know everyone on a personal level. There is always someone there to help and the class sizes make it really easy to get personal attention.

And today I read, again, that more than half do not meet State standards in English, and not only that, but the results are the worst in six years for the remaining subjects tested. Still happy with where more than 80% of your tax dollars are going, are you ?
