GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My Daughter attends the high school and is thriving academically. She is involved in a host of activities the school has to offer and has made so many friends.

It has had its ups and downs but overall I really like the school. My favorite is rock rivalry because I get to interact with my classmates in a new way.

My experience at East Rockaway has been good, it is a very small community and school district. Everyone knows each other and about 90 kids to a class. There are those certain cliques, and the only thing would be some of the teachers that don't put in effort. But that's only one or two of them. Overall, it is not a bad school, and it does offer many classes.
