GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The school itself is amazing. There's lots of afterschool activities and lots of resources. The only problem is food and safety. The food can sometimes be inedible and I absolutely hate the eggs they serve. It's like Styrofoam and just plain nasty. We've also gotten a bunch of bomb threats recently and sends a lot of panic into everyone. It annoys me how they are aware of the situation beforehand but still asks students to come to school.

Egg Harbor Township High School is a school that, in my opinion, has a rich fine and performing arts program but puts too much emphasis on its football team, which consistently performs poorly. Lots of fights break out frequently, vapes and weed are a constant problem, and the bathroom pass change is not great for someone who goes to the bathroom a lot.

Going to Egg Harbor Township High School has its good and bad moments. The school is very diverse and I rarely feel out of place. Most of my friends are people of color and it makes me feel safe and welcome. The education is fairly good, although some of the teachers are not that good at teaching, the curriculum is good. I hope to see the discipline change, I see a lot of people do bad things but do not get penalized as much as they should.

This school isn’t terrible, you could be doing a lot worse, such as those in the inner cities which have much more extreme forms of violence. The amenities here aren’t half bad. However, due to its large size (among other factors) the general social climate and culture here is poor and if you aren’t...

One of my sons got bullied to the point that we had to move him to Charter Tech High School (which turned out to be a MUCH better school over all). My other son is from a foreign country and taught himself English. His English teachers used to e-mail me frequently about how bad he was doing, misspel...

I'm in my Junior year and it's been a terrible experience. I'm a succeeding student with college plans, three advanced classes, and a frequent club-goer. If you're LGBTQ+, disabled, or suffer from any disorder/mental illness, this school is not for you. Most kids act like they're in the hood despite...
