GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The school has improved so much since I started as a freshman. New buildings, a new cafeteria, better attitude and rules from teachers and staff. There is so much help from counselors and teachers to achieve success after high school.

San Diego State University is a great School that I am so glad I came to. It does a great job of making students ready for college and informs them on what subject they need for college. I am so glad that I came here not just for the education but also for the educators and other wonderful students who are all very supportive of one another. This school is also the only one in the district that offers the TRiO program which is another tool to help students go to college. I highly recommend this school for anyone who can because this diverse and hardworking school goes out of its way to help every student it can.
