GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Food should have more healthy options, for example vegetarian & vegan lunches. The bathrooms should be cleaned more regularly, especially at the pool facility. It is a gorgeous pool however. Teachers are great & student activates are great as well.

Granite Hills High School is a high school that is a big part of the sport industry.based on the players that make our sport teams the best there is in San Diego. Not only are we on of the best schools in San Diego for ports, we. are also a very successful academic school. So, the best parts of the this school is knowing that i'm surronded by sporty people and very school coordinated people. On the other hand, not knowing what group you could fit in may be hard. For me, I lost all my friends and have no idea what to do with the people that i'm surronded with and what to do to lift myself up from those people. The problem at my school is their are more rude than nice people.

I just started my 3rd year of high school at Granite Hills High school. I've moved schools alot and compared to my last high school I'd say that it's about the same. I really love all the teachers at this High school I like they do there jobs greatly and I feel like I really connect with them more than my previous teachers. However the college readiness and academics at this school I feel are not as good compared to my pervious schools. Overall though, it's a very diverse and nice campus.

The campus is very nice and the staff is caring and well trained. It is not an easy time in education (with such polarity in society) but the staff does a great job at helping students to become thinkers and caring people. The fact that it is an IB school is a huge plus. This is the program diplomat...

Ugh, what a disaster this school is. Every body there is extremely rude including the staff and students. There are multiple cases of drug and alcohol incidents. The school is very old, and does not age well. The location of this school is awful. Your student is WAY better off at Valhalla or Steele...

My daughter attends Granite Hills and is having a wonderful experience. As with any school you have your typical groups of youth who buck the system. My daughter has been in Honors/AP/IB classes so tends to interact with the students who want to be there. She is in her Junior year, but within the fi...
