GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall my experience at this school has been a great fit for me and my brother!! The college readiness is great and it really helps with applying for colleges and taking college courses!

This is a new school preparing students for college. They do this by offering "Expeditions" a program where students are allowed to try out different classes related to what they would like to do in the future ex cooking, and soccer.

My overall experience was good. I met many close friends and built close, tight bonds with teachers and staff at the school. Some negatives is that there is no school culture/spirit due to the fact that we don't have many sports and the sports teams we do have weren't great. The academics was good because the system of learning at summit is self-paced and it was extremely helpful in preparing for college.

Most of the students are exremely disinterested in the...

Smart, energetic, and dedicated teachers. Small class sizes. Tons of support (assistance with Chromebooks, home wifi setup). The Summit.org student interface helps kids see what assignments are due, whether they're on track, etc. My only concern is how overworked the teachers seem to be--there has b...

In middle school, my son missed, on average, one day a week due to anxiety and frustration around school and his ability to access education with his dyslexia and dysgraphia. At Summit, he is a straight-A student, loves school, and see's himself going to a good 4-year college.
