GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall, Mountain View High School has definitely changed my life. Being able to grow from a teenager to a young adult through Mountain View High School takes a toll on you. If I had to say what my best experiences were, it's making friends throughout the year. My school isn't the biggest, but that's the best part: You truly get to know everyone. As per my worst experience, the breakfast food. Honestly, they didn't give the best breakfast in the morning.

I was welcomed as a new student in my junior year and since it's a small school, sometimes teachers and counselors pay attention to you more. Though, it also depends on what grade you are, because counselors do prioritize seniors for a good reason. I met many new friends here that I platonically love and had many new experiences that I wouldn't normally have at a big school. It's a small community, yet mostly everyone knows each other or knows of each other.

This highschool may be small but it is an amazing highschool. I had the greatest experience because of the amazing staff and admin working there. Highschool definitely felt short there.
