GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The school is pretty good, as well as the academics. The rules are a little strict, but that is only because people in the past couple years have broken the rules so much that they've tightened the rope around our class and we have not been able to get things that classes before us have.

The time I was there in 2018, the schools were getting better and they were implementing new rules and restrictions to make the city a great place to take your kids. Unfortunately, the city is not great but the schools are.

From all 4 years in Elizabeth High School I was able to make new friendships and enjoy many school and outside events with them. There are many activities that the school did. One of my favorites was "Relay for Life," a cancer society program where kids would fund money for cancer and would stay overnight in school beating the purpose of how cancer never sleeps. There were many shows that many of us enjoyed. I would like to see for this high school to continue doing what it is doing and allow for future kids to experience the same experience I had in my last four years of high school regarding covid.

Staff is god awful. The teachers aren’t too bad, but they’re very impatient and lack understanding in some of these students when they get left behind academically. They get left behind pretty quick because of the fact that they shove APs down your throat because they want their ranking to remain hi...

Reading the comments provided by former students was hysterical. Parents- please read these reviews by the EHS alumni "scholars". Pay particular attention to grammar, spelling and words used. I am embarrassed to be a part of this group. However it did provide for some positive entertainment.
