GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Don't send your kids there. Your kid will suffer like mine did. Mine has to change his major in college just because he wasn't given physics and calculus in this school. Choose another Elizabeth school, but not this one. This is the worst.

Overall, my experience with John E. Dwyer Technical Academy has been overall a great experience. I got to learn new things and meet many different people from different cultures and religions. I got to also experience the AVID program in which I am 3 years in now, and which prepared me for college life and guided me through the right path with my academic life.

John E. Dwyer is one of the worst high schools in Elizabeth. Unfortunately, I had the chance to experience Dwyer and the school is terrible. They do not care for the students whatsoever. The school is very unhygienic. They couldn't care less for student's mental health.
