GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My overall experience at Elizabethtown was great everyone here is friendly and the school really focuses on making sure students are ready for college.

The best part was the fact that i was able to get a good education which opened me up to a bunch of new opportunities and the worst part which I can't really narrow down, would have to be the constant bathroom breakdowns

There's a shortage of teachers and some don't teach very efficiently. Some of the teachers really excel at teaching whereas some it seems like they just like to hear themselves talk. The school is also very old and small, which limits the number of different classes we have to choose from. The art and foreign language fields particularly lack a diverse range of classes; they only offer Art and Portfolio Art and the only foreign language class offered is Spanish.

Wow!! EHS prepared both of my children for college beyond what I would have imagined. The grading scale is tough, but so worth the hard work they both put into their school work each day. The smallness of EHS as well as the entire EIS district is special. As the saying goes "once a Panther, always a...

I grew up in the elizabethtown school system. I NEVER hated Etown till I reached high school. of course we all dislike school sometimes and we’d rather be hanging out with friends or whatever instead of sitting in a classroom all day, but Etown is a whole different ball game. The staff does not care...

Etown HS is really bad and over rated. I would stick with a county school. North Hardin has the best sports and teachers.
