My experience at Cedar grove may vary from others but for me this school has yet to prepare me for the real world . So far I feel like academics are not taken seriously here . I would love to see teachers and administrators actually pushing students to be their best .

Overall, the highschool is fun, the work could be more challenging, and the sports are amazing. The teachers are loving and caring and they treat you like you're their kid.

It's your typical Dekalb county school. Predominantly black school and the food is decent. Sports are great; track, swim, football, and basketball to name a few.

The over all experience at CGHS is a 5. This is my child's 1st year of high school. My child feels encouraged to do well and comfortable among her peers. The teachers have been consistent in recognizing my child's academic achievements in class. The counselors communicated in clear language to me an...

The teachers, counselors, and principals are awesome. The principals are not in their office all day. They walk the halls and look into classes to make sure learning is going on.
