GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The small size school fosters a sense of community. It is easy to get to know the students in the building as well as the teachers and administrators. The diverse student body overall demonstrates acceptance of others and a level of respect. I have been able to thrive in this district both academically, athletically, and socially. I enjoy the opportunity to also be involved in helping the community and those in need though different clubs and events.

I love my school! I'm a transgender student and John Glenn and I actually feel very included and comfortable in my school. I'm also the salutatorian for the class of 2025! :D

I liked the majority of my teachers and was able to actually learn from going. My biggest problem was most of my classmates and some rules that they had in place that I found pointless.

This school should have known better than to give me a false certificate of graduation which this school district is the worst on LI and this school never cared about autistic students. Ever. They never did and they never will. Bruzynski should be fired along with the whole district!!!

It is a great school. My son is doing well. Good teachers and cooperative on teaching staff. My son is benefiting and getting better.

Absolutely one of the worst schools on Long Island. And I mean it. I'm a student who used to go here then got kicked out all because I was being bullied to much. And they disrespect anyone who disagrees with them, and even falsely gave me a graduate's degree and even had the audacity to block me on...
