The St. Cyril of Jerusalem School in Encino, California offers a private, Catholic education to about 260 students in prekindergarten through eighth grade.
Named after Saint Cyril, a Catholic saint, The St. Cyril of Jerusalem School was founded in 1949 and has since provided students with an excellent Catholic Education. Today, the school is led by Principal Angelica Pugliese. Another leader of the school is Father Eben MacDonald, who is the Pastor at both the school and at the affiliated St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church, located just around the corner from the school.
The St. Cyril of Jerusalem School believes in helping students develop their talents and skills through academic, Catholic, spiritual, artistic, and athletic curriculum. By equipping every classroom with a SmartBoard, and providing students with access to a MacBook Lab and video production classes, The St. Cyril of Jerusalem School ensures that their students and curriculum are ready for the modern, technological world.
Students at St. Cyril of Jerusalem have the opportunity to take part in several activities outside of the school day. These diverse activities include Mock Trial, Irish Step Dance, and Chess Club. The Angel on My Shoulder program revolves around the importance of service and helps students to give back to the community through charity work.
