Mcdowell Highschool is very obviously a public school that cares little for students who are not in sports programs or excelling academically. The teachers more often than not root for students' failure than success. The environment can be extremely toxic at times with little to np actions being taken as to how to fix this.

McDowell High School is a safe and engaging environment for high schoolers in the Millcreek Township School District. The teachers and administration look out for their students and overall want their students to succeed. Additionally, safety is constantly promoted and the building is well kept. I have encountered very little negative experiences here at McDowell.

My brother faced racism but it eventually calmed down. However he did end up dropping out of that high school because of it. I also faced some years later but I was about to ignore them until I graduated. The music program sucks pretty much. The chorus teacher from 2022 needs help.

Very poor education, I would recommend Prep over this public school. Pay the extra.

Overall a pretty great high school. I do feel as if more support for out of state transfer and ethnic students could be present. Especially at this crucial time period in an adolescents' life, school support is a key ingredient to a successful outcome. Being told by a trusted educator that you'll ne...
