The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience at James Campbell High School is good. There are so many opportunities that students are given to excel academically and grow socially as people. I love how the school targets students to enter the real world by giving us the chance to go through interviews, create a resume, and meet with people in diverse work fields.

I felt that this school was great , but it could improve, although it is in Hawaii I wanted more college readiness and specialized study. I think the school can improve their money habits and fix the buildings

The worst experiences are ones where there are disputes between students that end up leading to fights but there is security to resolve. My best experience there is HOCO week, the events and games they have are all really exhilarating and grows class spirt a lot.

James Campbell is by far the worst school I have ever had to deal with in my 20+ years in the military. It saddens me that I fight for my country for my children to have to endure this, and the poor parents that reached out to me and told me their horror stories of what they also have had to endure...

This school sucks, it’s hot, they have terrible leadership skills and take no ownership in mistakes to improve them.
