My name is Rashid Jones, I will be giving you all a brief description of my time at Terry Sanford! I love this school to the moon and back every program I've been in made me feel like home/family, and everyone else at that. And I love all my teachers and how they teach. Most people say they don't have help or they don't learn anything. Honestly all the resources are there anything you could need is in reach. It's a matter of reaching it which most people don't. The resources are there people just don't utilize them . And I'm guilty of that but I've realized and fixed that about myself. And I've really appreciated my coaches , counselor, AD etc. who've been there for me whenever however I needed it!!!

Terry Sanford was a terrible school and did not prepare me for college at all. I never had to study for anything at this school which left me unready for college and diminished my success my first semester there.

Terry sanford is the best high school in North Carolina. Now it is a very diverse school and has came a long way from where it use to be demographic wise. All sports are in the playoffs every year, every club and everyone supports each other as much as possible and the alumni support is unlike any other school in America. I wish I had all four years there but due to covid it was not possible but, even with covid they gave the best learning experience possible while trying to help everybody as much as possible.

I believe the school could do better in many areas including student harassment and teacher behavior. Many teachers make it clear they don’t want to work here or like teaching, which doesn’t motivate me at all to want to be taught by someone who doesn’t even enjoy teaching me.
