GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Trust needs to be built in the community, there's unspoken tension between the administration and students especially because of changes. There also needs to be more communication it has started to lack and everything is last minute or rushed.

As someone who has switched high schools three times, and has never enjoyed school. I can say Fitchburg High is a place where I feel accepted, comfortable and somewhat happy. High school isn't easy for anyone but Fitchburg is pretty good at helping with mental health, home issues, academic struggles, and other things.

Fitchburg has always been home to me and everyone is welcoming and it's a very nice environment to be in. If you have a bad day there's always that one person that will make your day better and there's always someone willing to listen. I also love the opportunities I can gain from this school with different programs and guidance evolving. The only thing I wish that would be better is school spirit because there's not a ton of it. Things have changed a lot this year compared to last year and I'm looking forward to it.

I don't know how this school is rated a 3- This high school was just rated in US News as one of the best High Schools w/ Took at Least One AP® Exam 46% and Graduation Rate of 94%. If the child want to learn the school has the programs for them!

I loved the school, but I spent most of my time in the art wing and in honors classes, which is mostly segregated from the rest of the student population. I'm sure if I had encountered some of the more unsavory characters I'd have a much different opinion.

My son was a 2016 graduate and he is now a first year college student with enough credits to be considered sophomore . The AP program is amazing and he did all this while also being a student athlete and enjoying his high school years Thank you to the entire staff and Go Red Raiders
