GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It is a really good school over all, I had done most of my classes through the honors and AP program and I think they did an excellent job preparing me for college type classes. The extracurriculars are ok, if you aren't in a sport be prepared to be underfunded. I was in band for most of the time and I enjoyed it for a little bit but ultimately became to stressful. Most of the teachers are kind and helpful and good to build a relationship with. The worst part for me might have been safety. While I personally was not affected, there were a lot of physical and sexual assaults that went on and in general it was hard to go a month without someone being harassed.

I had a rough time as a transgender student prior to 2020, and my younger siblings both attended the school and had issues with teachers. There were some STELLAR teachers but also some who were apathetic or outright hostile. Also, resources outside of environmental science or STEM classes were difficult to find or did not exist. I did love my time at this school, and I graduated with Alpine honors, but some changes are needed.

The best part about flag high is the fact that I was able to find myself with sports but the worst part would have to be favoritism.

We came from Oregon and what a difference this school has made. The teachers are invested in the kids and really provide a spectrum to challenge more gifted students but help those that have delays. I’m a foster parent with both gifted and challenged students. I’m so impressed with the social emotio...

One of the worst schools by far in the entire state, The education staff needs to be evaluated if they are even fit to be around young adults. The only good thing that has happened to this school is that Cullen was removed and no longer in charge of other peoples children. Be very cautious and talk...

Do not recommend for anyone with mental health problems. They do not handle bullying appropriately. They also do not fund arts programs . Teachers are not appreciated. The resource teachers are severely underfunded and do not get what they need for their classrooms. There’s hardly sex education. Do...

Terrible. The administration at this school is terrible. The principals do not build you up but rather tear you down. The school is no fun and feels like a prison
