GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Seward is a small school about 50-60 kids in each graduating class. It's good and bad thing being a small school, mostly good.

Attending a small s hook provided me with the opportunity to be in a smaller class learning environment. There were many opportunities for a small school. Small school big dreams. There are some changes that should be made that would benefit the district and that would be to offer more foreign languages, more computer classes.

The teachers and staff are friendly. I wish more funding went towards the arts instead of sports but that is a nationwide thing. The school is overall clean but the bathrooms are kind of outdated and it would have been nice to see those redone. The school has enough classrooms that the individual classes are small, and therefore one on one work can be established nicely.

My children are doing well academically. They are involved in the many sports and activities that Seward has to offer. It's great that the school offers so much to keep the kids busy - especially since it is a very small town. Teachers and staff truly care about the kids and build great relationship...

Seward is a very good school. The teachers are always attentive to the students. They stay after school for any student who needs the extra help. Its up to the student to take advantage of the resources available at the school. My children had IEP and the special education teachers are supurb. They...
