GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience at McClure has been personally a great place to grow and learn, it has many nurturing teachers that only want to see their students succeed, the school offers many extracurricular's in and out of school.

overall, Mcclure is a school of many different styles and organizations, Mcclure itself is an amazing school but sometimes the students and teachers aren't even close to doing their jobs honestly.

The school itself isn't really bad. The food is okay and the classrooms are ok as well. The sports are good well the girl sports are good the boys sports aren't the best because they have no teamwork. The are different some teachers actually teach while others talk most of the time. The administrators aren't really clear on their rules and they sometimes let people break them. The bathrooms are ok they mostly be locked. But if I had to rate the school I would give them a 3 out of 10 stars.

I had a great time attending in this school. Having graduated in 2010, I was involved in a plethora of after school activities. The majority of teachers that I had (honors classes) really cared about the subjects that they taught and wanted their students to learn. They really cared about us, as wel...

I graduated from McCluer a year ago and like a previous review stated, is the students that can give this campus a bad name. I felt teaching was oriented around this. Too often was class time used for student policing. That left a lot of us either too distracted at work, or not giving proper attentio...

This school isn't as bad as it seems. There is a lot of great teachers within the school who greatly care for their students. They are great at controlling the atmosphere in the school and keep the students very safe. Many of the students are the reason for the bad portrayal of the school. As they e...

McCluer was a good school in the 80's. They need to find those teachers so they can give an inservice on how to effectively teach students so they enjoy going to school and the students actually learn something. I've had 2 children to graduate from there. My youngest is there now and for the last th...
