Jefferson Forest provides a lot of opportunities for students. There is a broad selection of clubs and extracurriculars. Personally, it's been really fun to join new clubs because I've gotten to know new people and explore some of my interests and hobbies. The teachers here are all very willing to help. However, I do feel that some of the curriculum is not fully developed and certain teachers do not put very much effort into their lesson plans.

My overall experience has been good. As a student of color here, I have not personally experienced any racism, however, I do hear multiple comments being made towards other students. The students there are really cliquey, so if you aren't involved in any extracurricular activities, then it's harder to make friends. I was in the band so most of my friends were in the band. Overall I would recommended but just be warned.

Jefferson Forest is a place to excel academically. While some teachers provide excellent learning engagement and opportunities, there are of course some flaws. Lunch could certainly be improved and some of the faculty are not quite as engaging as possible, but Jefferson Forest is academically gifted and has a lot of potential.

Each student typically thinks differently. The school had some issues with Confederate flags and girl fights, but the faculty resolved those issues. Decent food, usually funny teachers, and a great theatre program. Very organized layout and a nice little library. Vending machines in the hallways and...

According to most students we spoke with there is obvious racism at the school we spoke with 74 students through the school

I went to this school and all throughout this time the students would be nothing but ruthless to each other; especially LGBTQ+ students. Also, when these ruthless behaviors are reported the students who do them are given nothing but a Stern talking to. Also, it smells relatively bad at all times.
