Dillard Highschool has great teachers and a very enjoyable intra-student-body culture. It does focus on music and the arts more than science and math, but it has a great - and I mean great - technology program. I due plan on majoring in Chemistry, so I do find it unfortunate that Dillard lacks in the science department; in terms of programs, clubs, and classes. One thing I will say about Dillard, however, is that they will make sure you pass; the events will also be very entertaining to any demographic as well.

My overall experience with Dillard Highschool so far is pretty good. As a student who audition to go to Dillard for the Performing Arts Program. It's very involved in the community and everyone around it. At school I'm in the AICE Cambridge Program which is great way to step kids up for college from grades 9th or 10th. Being involved in the culture and history of the school is very interesting and teaches you a alot about your own culture and how you can relate.

The only thing that is bad is the safety of the school I mean that’s almost normal how this school is always on lockdown because of a scuffle trust me Dillard isn’t that bad if you have friends Would I recommend someone’s child to go here??? NO!!! but if it’s the last resort, go ahead. Another thing...

Please look beyond the low rating of this school. My child has been in several high schools and this one has been top notch. The arts magnet program is phenomenal. The magnet program at Dillard High School is the best! Especially the jazz band:) The teachers in the magnet programs are totally devoted to the kids and the teachers work overtime to make sure that the programs are successful.
