I love Meade high school, I'm currently a senior and it's my second year & I've made so many new friends and I have built relationships with the faculty as well 100% best school

For all 4 years of my high school career, I've attended Meade High School. I also played football for all 4 years and besides the sports that keep this school interesting, having a terrible lunch didn't get me through certain days and even when I battled depression through my junior year I felt I didn't have any teacher/counselor to talk to because I felt no connection with any adults there to make me feel comfortable to talk to them.

Overall it has been fine but mainly because of the program I am in. I am in the IB diploma program and it has allowed me to stay in a cohort and have advanced classes. I hear poor things about other teachers and classes and students throughout the school but my experience has been fine. Not great but fine.

The reputation this school received is based on outdated information and is inconsistent with my child’s experience. Please keep in mind that a lot of the reviews written are by upset students who have had disagreements with teacher, etc. Mr. Durr ( principal) has done a tremendous job with the staf...
