GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

ILTexas has aa great mission, but there is such a severe shortage of teachers here. Back then when I first joined ILTexas a few years ago, this school was full of great teachers and the mission was enforced well, but since administration has changed things went aa bit south. Now that the campous is getting back on track it is getting better but there is still a lot of room for improvement.

At this school I feel like you don't really get the full high school experience. I feel like the school doesn't really care about us as students but instead more of us as a price tag. They want us to come to school to get funding and require us to take classes such as leadership and four years worth of P.E. only because they get more money for it. Instead of getting to take more courses to advance and do more I have to take four P.E. credits that is frankly unnecessary. I would like to see change when it comes to how administration considers the kids, we are students, not to be confused with moneymakers for the school and not to be treated like we're worth nothing. I feel like if the attitude towards students change it can really help. At the same time, there are definitely students who need to change their attitude as well, but I think it is a give respect to earn it type of thing. In conclusion, the school has a lot it needs to work on but there is also a lot it does a good job in.

What I enjoyed was how we all were in advanced classes, and we had the opportunity to learn two languages each year. I did not like the lack of creative electives and not many ap classes.

We love IL Texas so far. It’s our first year and while the learning curve is steep, they have taught my kid so much. She has flurrished at ILTexas.

Poor. Once we transferred we found school is behind in comparison to Keller ISD. More than 40 families we know have pulled out after several years. We wish we had sooner. More smoke and screens than parents realize. So many teachers have pulled out their children from these schools.

The environment between students and teachers is a lot closer than what it would be at a large public school. Everyone knows each other and we act like a small family.
