GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Young Men's Leadership Academy or YMLA is a great school to start your child on the path to becoming a proper young man and upstanding citizen, It teaches you a sense of companionship or "brotherhood" as the school puts it and in my experience all of this is true. I would not be who am I today if I did not attend this school, It has helped me gain the knowledge I need to be successful.

Young Men's has had a big impact on my life in the way that I have made so many friends there and not only from my grade but from all other grades. The school itself has great teachers because we as students can talk to them and they help us prepare for the future. Since its a college readiness, I have learned so much about my future even tho I'm still not sure what I'm going to be, I have so many options to choose from.

YMLA is Fort Worth's best kept secret. YMLA is small in number of students, but HUGE in heart and success rates!! The staff at YMLA truly care about their students. They motivate these young men to strive for excellence. The only thing I would love to see improved is the resources provided to these...
