GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

To be honest, the only things I liked that it was easy to make friends and they taught well which made it easy to stay in class/focused. There faults would be lack of handicap help, SAR office wouldn't take paperwork(which they made excuses) and I struggled getting to classes which made me tired at times. Had difficulties with talking with advisors at times, they're busy or just didn't want to talk.

I have been at TCC since 2022, I am currently in my sophomore year here and soon to start my junior year in the fall. I took my classes on the campus for my first year and enjoyed having the in-class interactions and being able to make friends, but once I started taking my classes online I found that I am able to focus more when I don't have other people around me. I also was able to focus on my homework and take my time with it since I didn't feel like I was being rushed to get it done. I felt more comfortable asking my professors questions online than I did when I was in person. It would be nice to have more classes that are online rather than in person. Every student has a different learning style and many prefer to be online instead. Certain subjects don't have online classes so it would be nice to see those have more options.

TCC has been a great 2-year public college that I look forward to going back to this upcoming Fall 2024 term. The south and northeast campus is clean and the professors I've had thus far have been passionate, helpful, and great.
