This school does have a very high rigor of expectations short of military school but does have 20-21 students per class and not 14. Ask why there is a high student and staff turn over, not to mention secretary and head of school changes. If it's such a great school, how many of the 40 students that started out in K/1st/2nd grade are still attending the school? The playground is similar to a prison school yard with its high fence, although looking for a new place. They have a basketball team, some plays but band is afterschool. 90% of the teachers do not eat in the faculty room. If your student needs special education, they are getting better but don't even expect them to be able to give you what a FCPS can give you, they don't have the resources.

If you have a child with a disability this is not the school for you. Instead of assistance with provided an aid that made sure she sat in her seat. For A child that was struggling to learn to read because of dyslexia they did nothing. I pulled her out by October. The only reason their test score ar...
