The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Going to Stafford high school is pretty chill and low-key. Some sports teams and coaches are better than others and I don't think they really take a lot of sports seriously. Stafford high school has definitely improved since 2022 my freshman year. It's a lot safer and a lot more productive. We have a lot of vape alarms going off and I think our school has a pretty big drug problem, but it's pretty easy to avoid being in it. there are definitely some pretty cool teachers that are fun to talk to and then there's some that I didn't get along with as well, but they all got the job done. I don't think Stafford high school is particularly worse than any other schools, but I definitely wouldn't say it's better than any others in the district. I'm pretty satisfied with my time there.

My overall experience with Stafford Senior High School was....Ill say boring. My whole 4 years of being at this school have been boring, its always been the same thing over and over again every year just with added unreasonable rules. I also wish that they had more programs because none that are here suit my interests.

It is an overall and okay school, however we have a lot of fights occur and there are way too many people for the size school that we have.
Overall a very good experience for my daughter. They have Governor’s program, STAT, pre- AP/AP courses, honors, advanced diplomas, vocational and technical programs, co/extra-curricular activities. The resources are there if you apply yourself. Lasting friendships and supportive staff.
