I am a 3rd generation High School student at Francis Lewis High School. My mother and grandmother attended as well. It is a great neighborhood public High School. I really enjoyed the classes and extra curricular activities.

The best thing about Francis Lewis High School is the community itself. There is a little bit of something for everyone, such as teams, clubs, and organizations. You're almost bound to find something you enjoy. However, unfortunately, while most teachers and faculty members are genuinely amazing people, quite a few offer no support whatsoever.

The hallways can get crowded, especially at the annex—the new building. As of 2024, the athletic field is under renovation, so PE is usually on the field(gym uniform and all). There's quite the range of APs and programs. As for lunch, like most other high schools it's kind of mediocre.

Excellent Public School. The children receive a great education. Teachers are very good. A lot to choose from.

I'm a freshman and so far so good. The teachers actually care , it's a little crowed after a while it's okay anyway's I really enjoy going to Francis Lewis !
