GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Fridley High School does very well when it comes to college readiness. Whether it be through the IB Diploma Program or college readiness classes like AVID, students are taught skills from critical thinking, to study skills, essay writing, job preparation, and more. Assignments and projects through both programs are extremely helpful in preparing students for college.

Fridley Senior High was a great experience for me. The teachers are calm and reassuring no matter how difficult it is to teach the class. The students have their ups and downs but they know that above all, we have a great staff of teachers pushing us to do better each day. That is the most important quality in a school.

I liked the committed staff members and students. I also enjoyed the events held by Fridley High School. Additionally, I appreciated how dedicated the staff is to making the student body heard. I would not like to change anything about Fridley High School.

Terrible communication between administration and parents. No flexibility or understanding. My child has also been bullied in the past and nothing was done about it. Terrible teachers that obviously hate teaching and should be seeking out other lines of work.

The staff goes above and beyond to support the students. The small district has been great for our family because you really get to know the teachers and support staff. Kids have great opportunities to succeed here because of the size of the school.
