Heritage High School was a great school overall as in terms of academic experience, the school was cutthroat in competition as no student would let another student do better. This lead to heavy competition that would propel our school being the top in academics. However our school lacks facilities in comparison to the schools around such as Allen high school and Rock Hill High School.

I started coming to Heritage during my junior year and from what I've experienced through the football program and the relations I've built with new friends and teachers I would say that Heritage high school is a really social friendly and competitive school. The sports program really pushes for a very competitive and school spirted environment when is one the of the best aspects of the school in my opinion. The school overall is great but one thing I would change would be the communication between the principals and the students of the school. I believe they can be more responsive and interactive with their students as well as be more detailed when explain diffrent school events and activities.

All in all, this school has provided a decent experience to my child. The teachers are quality and they do seem to care about your student's success. They offer challenging classes for strong students and they prepare you well for college. I would like to see the counselors get a little more involve...

Heritage High School is a very good school and it provided my sons with a very good education. The school and district offers a lot of courses that you will not find in other districts in DFW area.
