I was only part of Lone Star High School for one semester, but it was enjoyable nevertheless. Despite coming from India, where I was raised, I really enjoyed the classes, and the teachers were pretty good and approachable too. Don't take my word for it though, since I spent only my first semester of freshman year there.

I started school here last year and it wasn't a bad year overall but there were many things about the school that just don't make sense and really diminish the high school experience for students, also I feel like this district doesn't really care about the students or prepare us for college at all.

It is a very small school with too many students and insufficient space. The facilities are old. Some teachers are great, but some are not good and do not teach.

This school gets a bad rap due to kids from Little Elm get to attend. I don't think it's fair. They really care about their kids. They also partner with universities around them to allow kids to get their associates degree while going to highschool.

Our daughter attended this school for all 4 years, it has been a very good experience. We loved the school and any questions and concerns were always answered immediately.

My son has been attending LSHS for the 4 years. Ms. Kraft and the administration are wonderful. Ms. Kraft is fair and a highly competent principal. The teachers are also very caring and approachable.
