GreatSchools Rating

Source: GreatSchools
GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Best Parts: - Really great staff. Teachers and administrators really care about their students, and try their best to help them - Events and sports. Though the teams and themes may not be the best, the students and staff behind these events do their best to make the experience best for everyone Worst Part: - School can have cliques. Most kids here know each other from middle and elementary school, and though they are friendly, are reluctant to let newcomers into their groups.

There is no diversity at Sunny Hills High School. You will only be surrounded by Korean-Americans or Korean international students.

I believe Sunny Hills high school's advanced classes helped my daughter to be well prepared for college. Her Math teachers are one of the main reasons why she scored so well in her AP exams.
