GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My overall experience with Eastside High School is that I absolutely loved that school so much, i have such good memories from this wonderful place. I graduated from this school back in June of 2021.

I liked going to eastside because I was in the IB program, but I feel that the facilities could've been better than they were.
3.0 Junior

The students are nice, and the environment is positive with most students in the competitive environment pushing each other to be better. However, the quality of the IB program has diminished in recent years in terms of teaching compared to what alumni have said.

These were the most horrible years of my school life. The majority (black) students seemed to rule and if you were part of the minority, you were a victim. Horrible school, horrible people, just a horrible place.

This was the worst part of my teenage years. This school actively tries to discourage learning and seems to hold in contempt the majority of its students.

I WILL NEVER RETURN ! I have had horrible experiences at this school 2015-16 school year. Many arrests were made at the school this year, lots of horrible things. My math class was so bad my teacher refused to teach us the last nine weeks of school, leaving our grades as is. This school may be lovel...

Eastside High School is located in what some people may call unsafe, but throughout my four years here, I've never experienced anything to make me feel like I'm in harms way. Being in both the I.B program and then switching to become a hybrid(AP/IB classes and regular honors classes), I've experienc...
