The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

I loved going to golden Sierra. It is a small high school but this allows you to grow and connect with teachers that you would normally not be able to do at a bigger school. There was many opportunities for sports/ club involvement due to our small class sizes.

I have always had an amazing relationship with all of my teachers, and I have always received good grades. The only negative I really hold about the school is the lack of security and the lack of school spirit. For such a small school, nobody really participates in spirit weeks, I have always wanted to be apart of a community where everybody is supportive.

I had many good and many bad experiences at golden sierra high school. Many of the high schoolers and surprisingly teachers are very clicky. I would like to see that change. I also had many health complications during my stay at golden sierra, A part where they were very understanding.
It wasn't a good enviroment incident reports are ignored and bullying is allowed even after many district wide student suicides over the years they have favoritism and tend to single out students at Golden sierra many of the students that I go with have been leaving more and more each year. I'm not...
This school is like all other schools. The administration, counselors, and most of the staff are stuck in their own school days in their heads and can't function as adults.
Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name... this is the Cheers of schools! Kids, parents, staff, community care for one another and support a positive learning environment. Highly recommend.
