GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Attending Gardner-South Wilmington Township High School has really shown me to always try my best and it will be noticed. The teachers are easy to get along with and fun to be around. I enjoy being near my friends every day and learning a little bit about everyone every single day. This high school feels like a family and I love every second of being at this high school. There are some downsides. I feel like the teachers are not very advanced in getting students prepared for college.

I joined Garner-South Wilmington Township H.S. for the school year of 2015/2016 and will be graduating 2017. The school has a welcoming atmosphere for being so small and the teachers/faculty are generally helpful in areas of study and other activities. The school is terribly underfunded and kept but everybody does what they can do to help make the environment better.

This school does not have enough extracurriculars but the ones available are widely attended, well orgranized, and the students put a lot of enthusiasm into them.
