Located in southern Garfield Heights, right next door to Garfield Heights Middle School, Maple Leaf Elementary School provides quality education to the youngest of Garfield Heights. Maple Leaf Bulldogs are taught in a secure, nurturing environment where academic and social growth are prioritized. Maple Leaf teachers implement evidence-based instructional practices in their classrooms daily, and students are exposed to technology to enhance and extend their learning.
Teachers make creative use of the classroom spaces to engage students. For example, physics lessons include ramps, yardsticks and balls on classroom desks and floors to help students explore concepts. Creativity and visual arts are also important at Maple Leaf Elementary, where students’ artwork is displayed in places of pride in school hallways. Students burn off their excess energy on the playground equipment and follow activities prompted by maps and shapes painted on the playground surface. The campus also has two baseball and softball fields and a football field. Students and teachers celebrate the end of each academic year with field day fun and games.

This school deserves 10 stars, my son loves this school! I can't be more thankful with the great staff at Maple Leaf my son learn a lot in this school as a special education student. Thank you to the teachers that help my boy, it was a pleasure to meet all of you!!

Lousy....that sums it up I have lived in the district for 10 years and since 4th grade at this school I have found, the teachers and faculty alike both have a general lacksidaisy approach. I wish I can call an exception to a Math teacher in particular who is amazing...unfortunately he is one of the...
