GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Most of the teachers are friendly as long as they see you as a hardworking student. Very open with questions and are happy to help the students out.

Worked there for five years. I still talk to many people who work there. Extremely high turnover rate. The pandemic really showed the true colors of this school and community.

Overall, the school is a decent school. Very small, close knit community that makes you feel safe and comfortable. However, Genoa-Kingston High School has very limited classes for someone who is more advanced. The school simply does not have much to chose from academicly.

Public Schools might work for some people, but others want more for their kids. Genoa Kingston schools are below average. We need vouchers so that the people who want more for their kids can get it.
