GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall, this school has been great. However, I believe they could provide a wider variety of sports for students. Additionally, it would be beneficial to have a homecoming dance and a homecoming king nominee, especially since there is already a queen nominee.

I enjoyed how much our principle wanted all the students to get along and protect each other. I also loved how education was celebrated just as much as sports.

Giddings High School is the best of the best. I'm not just saying that since I go there. The teachers are some of the best around. They really focus on each student's needs to make sure they will succeed in the future. Our academics is top of the notch. Many smart students make the school up.
