Offering proven superior academics, Benjamin Franklin Charter School in Gilbert is a tuition-free charter school for students in kindergarten through sixth grade. The school offers traditional and classical education focused on character, virtue and citizenship. The curriculum includes mathematics, reading, recitations, penmanship, spelling, language, composition, history and geography. The aim is to develop the intellect of the student to build foundational learning skills to carry through the school years and within the community. The school offers a music class that all students are involved in to teach music literacy. Band and orchestra are extracurricular activities that are optional. Before and after school programs are also available to those interested. The Benjamin Franklin High School campus is nearby for young learners in seventh to twelfth grades. We absolutely love Benjamin Franklin. My son has learned so much and grown since becoming a student there. They are academically challenging and push their students to achieve greatness. They also have a high emphasis on good morals and values. My daughter starts kindergarten there this year and we are so excited to watch her learn and grow soon too.

We have had all of our children at BFCS -Gilbert with the oldest spending his entire elementary years there. We couldn’t be happier with our experience. Excellent teachers who care and a curriculum that emphasizes being a good citizen is equally as important as getting good grades.
