GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

All of the teachers and staff are very caring and focused on our success. I enjoy going there every day.

The school has no idea how to respond to the modern day environment of technology and fails to understand with new issues that are more complex

I had an outstanding 4 years at Gilford HS! I was from a surrounding town that went there for high school. I am successful academically and athletically. I maintain honor roll grades (honors classes) and am a three sport varsity athlete since my freshman year.

Avoid moving to Gilford or Gilmanton, specifically because of this school. This place has no business calling itself an institute of education. Numerous teachers with no clue how to educate. Complete joke.

One of the worst schools that I've had the misfortune of attending.

AP scores off the charts in all subjects. Arts program that leads New England with theatre and musical productions. I've been in Gilford three years now and see a vibrant school with outstanding leadership.
